KatadataOTO – PT Astra Otoparts Tbk introduces their newest brand, Ulti X. This brand will provide motorcycle components for the high-performance and racing parts segments.

Ulti X is here to meet the needs of the public and the motorsport community in Indonesia for high-performance components. Moreover, not many locally made products have entered this segment.

“We have seen a need in the market, but not many local brands have focused on providing high-performance products that are race-ready yet still suitable for daily use. Ulti X is here to answer that,” said Martogi Siahaan, Director of Astra Otoparts at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025.

He also revealed that Ulti X is oriented towards competitive performance and technical validation in the racing world. All products are developed through research and field testing in collaboration with several elements such as racing communities and motorsport engineers.

Initially, Ulti X will be available in several components, namely brake pads, rims, chains, and gears. Each is claimed to have passed various tests to ensure performance is maintained in various road conditions.

First is the Ulti X brake pad, which has a new pad formula for more optimal, stable braking with minimal fading even in extreme temperatures.

Next are the Ulti X rims, which are made from lightweight metal to make it easier for riders to accelerate. The design is engineered for optimal weight distribution, making the motorcycle's handling responsive and suitable for use on both the track and the highway.

Meanwhile, the Ulti X chain and sprocket have also been developed with friction-resistant materials and a high-precision design. The manufacturer has ensured a responsive, strong, yet efficient ride at high speeds and in challenging conditions.

Astra Otoparts affirmed that they will continue to expand the Ulti X product line and actively support local and national racing events. They are even open to the possibility of collaborating with racing teams and user communities.
