KatadataOTO – Italjet Speedster 200 was officially introduced at the Indonesia International  Show (IIMS) 2025. This vehicle is claimed to still be a prototype but is already very close to the mass production version.

It's not surprising that PT Cuprum Performance Indonesia (Italjet Indonesia) is confident in confirming the product will be sold in August 2025.

“Indonesia is the first country to present the Speedster 200 after it was displayed at EICMA in Italy,” said Irwansyah Said, General Manager of Italjet Indonesia.

Although designed with Italjet's sporty DNA, the motorcycle is still claimed to be comfortable to use. It's not surprising that they are optimistic this motorcycle will become the backbone of sales in the country.

The Speedster 200 is equipped with a 181cc, single-cylinder, 4-valve, liquid-cooled DOHC engine that produces a maximum power of 17.5 hp at 8,000 rpm and a torque of 15.5 Nm at 7,750 rpm.  Its features include a color TFT display, a keyless system, and spacious storage.

With all its advantages, this product will be sold for around IDR 80 million. Although it has not been officially launched, Italjet Indonesia has already opened pre-orders, with a required down payment of IDR 7 million.

However, it should be noted that the units will only be available in the third quarter or August 2025. This means customers must be patient and accept the risk of minor changes.

“Although it's still a prototype, the Italjet Speedster 200 is already 95 percent similar to the mass production version. So even if there are changes, they certainly won't be significant,” he said.

He also added that the number of units at the initial launch will be limited. Therefore, delivery will be prioritized for those who have pre-ordered.

“As for the color, only black is available for now. Since it hasn't been officially launched, if there are any changes, we will certainly provide updates, especially to customers who have already placed an order,” he then added.

On the same occasion, Italjet Indonesia also announced its readiness to expand its network to make it easier for customers to make purchases and perform maintenance. They plan to open several dealerships in a number of cities such as Bandung, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, and Bali.
