Royal Alloy JPS 245 is here to meet the needs of classic motorcycle enthusiasts who want to go touring.
KatadataOTO – Royal Alloy JPS 245 (John Player Special) Darwinbro has officially entered the Indonesian market. This motorcycle is offered in two variant options.
First, there is the Royal Alloy JPS 245 on-road with a more elegant look. Then there is the JPS 245 off-road version which uses a more subdued color, naked handlebars, and dual-purpose tires.
By introducing a new model to the country's automotive market, Royal Alloy Indonesia hopes consumers will have more choices.
Royal Alloy itself is known as a scooter manufacturer with a classic look. However, it is still wrapped in modern elements.
The JPS 245 model relies on a 245 cc engine. This powertrain is claimed to be reliable for long-distance touring.
Using an iron body, the Royal Alloy JPS 245 Darwinbro is suitable for individuals who like to have an eccentric look on the streets.
“We packaged the JPS 245 launch intimately because we want to present a more personal experience,” said Irwan Cipto, Commissioner of Royal Alloy Indonesia in the Senayan area, Jakarta (20/01).
The launch ceremony itself was attended by a number of consumers known to have a passion for automotive.
Speaking of features, the Royal Alloy JPS 245 is equipped with canister-type suspension at the front. Interestingly, both the front and rear are fitted with double suspension, meaning on the right and left sides.
Because generally, scooters from Europe only use suspension on one side.
Then, for the rider's information, a digital meter panel is provided. The motorcycle can also connect to the owner's gadget.
One interesting function of the connectivity system is a dashcam under the main headlight. So users can record during their journey.
The camera's output can only be accessed via a smartphone using a connected application.
The Royal Alloy JPS 245 is offered in five attractive color options. The on-road variant has Crude Oil, Platinum, and Crimson Gold options.
Meanwhile, the off-road version is sold with Battlefield Green and Contemporary Orange color choices.
The retro-looking Royal Alloy JPS 245 Darwinbro scooter is sold for IDR 119 million. This figure is equivalent to a first-generation used Honda Brio.
