KatadataOTO – Currently, there are many choices of electric motorcycles in Indonesia. This has prompted Zeneos to introduce special tires for electric two-wheelers.

One of them is the Zeneos Ionity. Coincidentally, the KatadataOTO team had the opportunity to test the product some time ago.

These Zeneos Ionity tires were used for a touring activity from Cibinong to South Cianjur, West Java, covering a distance of approximately 600 km.

The Zeneos Ionity, sized 110/70 ring 13 at the front and 130/70 ring 13 at the rear, was fitted on a Yamaha Nmax.

For context, this tire is claimed to have several advantages over other products. First is its low rolling resistance.

This technology helps reduce rolling resistance, allowing the vehicle to run more efficiently.

It also offers maximum grip. Whether used on wet or dry roads, the Zeneos Ionity provides optimal traction to enhance safety.

Indeed, during the trip, we felt that this tire performed very well, especially when navigating winding roads at medium to high speeds.

The product felt quite sticky on the asphalt, making us more confident in pushing the motorcycle through the Naringgul road.

Moreover, the tire tread pattern is designed to channel water maximally at various speeds.

The hope is that it can minimize the chance of aquaplaning in the rainy season like now.

Furthermore, thanks to its superior tire compound, the Zeneos Ionity can dampen the sound of friction with the road.

Thus, it can produce a quieter riding experience, as befits a tire specifically for electric motorcycles.

It doesn't stop there; when the KatadataOTO team went through bumpy roads in the Naringgul area, the Zeneos Ionity was able to dampen vibrations.

This is thanks to the sidewall, which has been reinforced to maintain stability on the road.

This is an important feature for electric motorcycles or high-performance two-wheelers, where high torque can cause the tire to slip.

Thanks to the various advantages mentioned above, the Zeneos Ionity is well worth considering for use on premium automatic scooters as well as electric two-wheelers.

This is because it can be relied upon for various activities, from urban mobility to long-distance or inter-city touring.

Lastly, the Zeneos Ionity is made using premium materials, so its service life can be longer.
