Electric Vehicle Adoption Growing Rapidly in Southeast Asia

The United Avand SL150 electric motorcycle was officially launched at the IIMS 2025 exhibition, priced at around Rp 22 million.

KatadataOTO – United doesn't want to be left behind in presenting new products at IIMS (Indonesia International Motor Show) 2025. This time, they are launching the Avand SL150.
This was done to meet the needs of consumers, especially those who want an EV (Electric Vehicle) with capable performance.
“This motorcycle is one of the answers, that we want to present a better product. Including in terms of range and performance,” said Fendi Widhiatmoko, Assistant Manager of Research & Development at United E-Motor at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta on Friday (14/02).
Fendi explained that the new United electric motorcycle has several advantages. Such as having a compact form.
The United Avand SL150 is claimed to be agile when used. It can also be relied upon when maneuvering through traffic jams on city streets.
“Riders will experience excellent comfort while riding it,” he continued.
At a glance, the United Avand SL150 has a fairly sporty appearance. This is thanks to the sharp lines throughout the body.
It also offers a modern impression, being equipped with an LED headlight. It can provide maximum illumination when used at night.
As for the powertrain, the United Avand SL150 is powered by a 2,700-watt electric motor. It is paired with two 72V 26Ah Lithium batteries.
This enables the United electric motorcycle to reach a maximum speed of 70 km/h. Thus, it can be relied upon for daily activities.
Moreover, there are three riding modes available that can be adjusted according to the owner's wishes or needs.
It also includes a Boost Mode feature, namely 1 and 2. Then, to make it easier for the owner, there is a Reverse Mode for backing up the vehicle.
On the other hand, the United Avand SL150 can travel up to 185 km on a single charge, using two batteries.
United also provides various modern features on its product. For example, USB Type A and C ports, a digital meter panel, and hill start assist.
Thanks to the various advantages mentioned above, the United Avand SL150 is not only marketed to the general public. But it is also sold to support businesses or enterprises.
“The need for corporate transportation that can support daily activities is what we are trying to capture,” said Andry Dwinanda, General Manager of United E-Motor.
For your information, the price of the United Avand SL150 electric motorcycle is Rp 22.5 Million. This amount is on-the-road for Jadetabek (Jakarta, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi).
