Dozens of Isuzu ELF NQR B Minitrans Transjakarta Buses Hit the Road

KatadataOTO – PT Isuzu Astra Motor Indonesia (IAMI) held a ceremonial handover of ELF NQR B units to Transjakarta. A total of 53 units will soon be on the road.

Taking place at GIIAS 2025, IAMI stated that this move is a form of support for the public transportation sector in Indonesia.

On previous occasions, IAMI has done similar things to strengthen fleets in Bandung, Central Java, Padang, and Bali.

“Finally, this year we can be part of Transjakarta,” said Rian Erlangga, Head of Business Strategy Division at PT IAMI at ICE BSD City, Tangerang, in a press release quoted on (07/30).

It was stated that Isuzu is in the process of entering the Trans-concept transportation in several major cities in Indonesia.

The targets are said to include Makassar, Palembang, and East Java.

IAMI's focus is not only on presenting efficient and tough products. The manufacturer also provides excellent after-sales service.

Because IAMI has 162 Isuzu Mobile Workshops (BIB), part shops, part depots, and on-site mechanics. This can provide peace of mind for business people and entrepreneurs.

Furthermore, the Isuzu ELF itself is said to have recorded sales of more than 12,610 units. That figure is the achievement for 2024 and has led IAMI to capture 26.6 percent of its segment.

"Speaking of commercial vehicles, especially for Transjakarta, the units must be in prime condition and well-maintained. They cannot be broken down for too long," said Rian.

The Isuzu ELF NQR B becoming Transjakarta's new fleet is not without reason. Because the product's quality and advantages have been proven.

As a Transjakarta Minitrans, the ELF NQR B is claimed to be able to accommodate 29 passengers (13 standing and 16 seated).
