KatadataOTO – Hino has reintroduced the My Hino application, which has become a company mainstay in supporting the logistics industry in Indonesia. With this, vehicle owners can more easily monitor their fleet's journeys.
The application features several excellent functions such as service booking, vehicle maintenance history, and spare parts information. It also offers features like vehicle auto-registration, a product catalog, and a digital owner's manual.
“With My Hino, customers no longer need to go through the trouble of just searching for information or booking a service. All services are now in the palm of your hand,” said Karen Benita, Dealer Development & Telematic Division Head.
Additionally, they also reintroduced Hino Connect, a superior telematics system that allows business owners to monitor fleet performance. From vehicle location, fuel consumption, and driver behavior to periodic maintenance reminders.
Several other features are also available, such as Point of Interest, Multi-Layer ID, and API Integration with the customer's internal company system. A Driver Mobile App was also launched at this year's GIIAS.
This application allows drivers to verify their identity, record driving performance, and connect directly with the company's management system.
“Through Hino Connect Driver, companies can identify the driver of each unit, monitor driving habits, and analyze the performance data of each driver. This certainly has a direct impact on operational efficiency, reducing accident risks, and more timely vehicle maintenance,” he said.
The feature is already being used by several companies, including PT Primajasa Perdanarayautama. This bus company utilizes vehicle monitoring features, including fleet position, driver behavior, and periodic service reminders, all of which help maintain operational punctuality.
The results are considered to help the company maintain the best service standards.
“Through the integration solution with Hino Apps, we can increase efficiency, reduce operational costs, and at the same time ensure safety and comfort for passengers,” said Al Malik Masahiko Otsuka Mahpud, Field and Technical Director of PT Primajasa Perdanarayautama.
