KatadataOTO – The IIMS (Indonesia International Motor Show) 2025 Exhibition officially ended on Sunday (23/2). Although there are no exact figures on the number of transactions, the estimated increase reaches tens of billions.

Previously reported, towards the closing of IIMS 2025, the provisional transaction amount increased compared to the achievement in the same period last year.

The transaction record towards the closing of IIMS 2024 was Rp 3.1 trillion. With a 3.2 percent increase, there was an approximate additional transaction of Rp 99.2 billion.

“We will release the figures after the show days. We will inform you soon,” said Rudi MF, Project Manager of Dyandra Promosindo when contacted by KatadataOTO on Sunday.

The organizers themselves were targeting the number of transactions to still approach the achievement of IIMS 2024, which was Rp 6.7 trillion, despite facing various challenges.

The expected transaction figure is around Rp 6.2 trillion, reflecting the decline in sales volume throughout 2024.

IIMS 2025 was held at JIExpo Kemayoran from February 13-23. Still like the previous event, this exhibition combines automotive and entertainment concepts through a concert titled Your Infinite Autotainment Experience.

Although still using the same area as the previous year, the exhibition area was expanded to Hall B and Gambir Expo to accommodate the increasing number of participants.

Hall B itself was filled by several new four-wheeled vehicle brands, mostly from China. Geely, Jetour, and Jaecoo enlivened the new area.

In total, 33 car brands joined the exhibition. This figure is an increase of 10 brands compared to IIMS 2024.

Meanwhile, the number of participants from two-wheeled vehicle brands was 24, including Honda, Yamaha, Piaggio Group, Kawasaki, and newcomers QJMotor and Maka Motor.

Also enlivening the IIMS 2025 event, several brands launched their first global products in the country. Such as Chery with the Jaecoo J5 EV, and Jetour bringing its first electric car, the X50e, as an introduction.

Not only helping the adoption of electric vehicles, the various new products present are expected to contribute to boosting national car sales in 2025.
