IIMS 2025 Transactions Increased 3 Percent from Last Year

KatadataOTO – Despite facing a number of challenges this year, the automotive exhibition IIMS 2025 is claimed to have recorded an increase in visitors and transactions during its nine-day run. 

For your information, the exhibition was held at JIExpo Kemayoran, but used the additional Gambir Expo area to accommodate the increasing number of participants. 

For your information, 190 participants were involved in this year's IIMS 2025 event. This includes 56 four-wheeled and two-wheeled vehicle brands. 

“As of yesterday, Friday (21/2), the increase in visitors was up three percent from the previous year in the same period, and a 3.2 percent increase in transactions from the partial data reported,” said Daswar Marpaung, President Director of Dyandra Promosindo in Jakarta, Saturday (22/2).

He further hoped that the series of events during IIMS 2025 could help open up many job opportunities, and have a positive impact on every related industry. 

“The involvement of 5,000 workers is concrete proof of our efforts in empowering the workforce and sustainable economic growth,” he continued.

For your information, the IIMS 2025 automotive exhibition will be held from February 13-23, 2025. A number of automotive brands from China will also be participating, bringing new products, including models making their global debut in Indonesia.

For example, the Jaecoo J5 EV, which made its debut in the domestic market at IIMS 2025. However, its official specifications are still being kept secret until its official launch, but consumers can place an order with a booking fee of Rp 5 million-Rp 10 million.

Then, Suzuki showcased its flagship product line, including the boxy MPV APV Arena and the eWX concept electric car.

The Suzuki eWX is one form of PT SIS's (Suzuki Indomobil Sales) commitment to presenting environmentally friendly products and accelerating the adoption of environmentally friendly vehicles in the country.

On the same occasion, they also confirmed the arrival of the Suzuki e Vitara in early 2026. Previously, the model was present in Indonesia as the eVX prototype.
