Isuzu GIGA FVM Showcased at GIIAS 2025, Supporting Cold-Chain Business

Taking advantage of the GIIAS 2025 event, Isuzu brought a variety of its flagship products. Including the GIGA FVM Refrigerator.

Falling into the medium-duty truck category, this vehicle is designed to transport heavy cargo.

Its carrying capacity is also large. This can be profitable for business people in the country.

PT IAMI itself collaborated with Prima Trans Logistik (PTL) to display the unit. The Isuzu GIGA FVM is equipped with a refrigerator.

It can be utilized to support the cold-chain industry in Indonesia, which continues to grow over time.

“The presence of the Isuzu GIGA FVM Refrigerator at GIIAS 2025 can be an example of how we continue to innovate,” said Rian Erlangga, Division Head of Business Strategy at PT IAMI at ICE BSD (31/07).

The unit on display is the Isuzu GIGA FVM U with a length of 11,945 mm. The vehicle's width is 2,485 mm and its height is 2,965 mm.

It is mentioned that the truck, known as a tronton, has space to carry cargo up to 9,660 mm in length.

PTL itself utilizes the cargo space as a refrigerator. This allows it to carry goods at specific temperature conditions.

The vehicle is useful for businesses in vegetable and fruit plantations, meat processing, and large-scale food delivery services.

In terms of performance, the Isuzu GIGA FVM is equipped with a 6 HK1-TCS engine. The powertrain has a capacity of 7,790 cc and an inline six-cylinder configuration.

This vehicle's power source is believed to be capable of producing up to 281 hp. Meanwhile, its peak torque reaches 882 Nm at 1,450 – 2,400 rpm.

The Isuzu GIGA FVM is also claimed to be environmentally friendly as it has met the EURO 4 standard. This is also supported by common rail technology that Isuzu has been developing for 14 years.

Isuzu has also provided after-sales services for its customers. This is proven by the positive response Isuzu has received during its 50 years of operation in the country.

Furthermore, an Isuzu Part Depot and Isuzu Mobile Workshop (BIB) services are available. This ensures that vehicle operations remain optimal.
