KatadataOTO – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) is again carrying out road repairs by reconstructing two points on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road. The work will be carried out for one week.
This maintenance aims to ensure driver comfort is maintained, ensuring a smooth journey for customers.
“The quality of the toll road needs to be continuously maintained, so we are carrying out maintenance activities in the form of road reconstruction starting today until the end of next week at several points based on evaluation,” said Amri Sanusi, Senior Manager Representative Office 1 of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, as reported by Antara (14/07).
Amri revealed that there are at least two work locations. The first point is at Kilometer 35+227 to Km 35+355, which will be carried out until Thursday (17/07) at 09:00 AM WIB.
Meanwhile, the work at the second point is at Km 58+300 to Km 58+340 on lane 1 towards Jakarta, starting Monday (14/7) until Sunday (20/7) at 06:00 AM WIB.
He also revealed that there will be no road closures on the Jakarta – Cikampek toll road in either the Jakarta or Cikampek direction. Therefore, traffic is expected to continue to run normally while the work is in progress.
Nevertheless, Ria Marlinda Paallo, VP Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT JTT, revealed that her party has implemented mitigation procedures to avoid undesirable events. This includes stationing officers and diverting affected traffic flow before the work area.
Not only that, they have also narrowed the work area and prepared for a contraflow system if traffic conditions become congested. Therefore, they have coordinated with the Highway Patrol Police regarding traffic management.
Information regarding the road repairs is also being disseminated in various ways so that toll road users can understand the traffic conditions. From Dynamic Message Signs to informational banners have been installed.
The public is also advised to reschedule their trips to avoid arriving late at their destination.
"Also, ensure your electronic money balance is sufficient and charge your devices and refuel your vehicle before starting your journey," concluded Ria Marlinda Paallo.
