KatadataOTO – PT SSE (Sentra Surya Ekajaya) has innovated again. Recently, they introduced the new P2 Tiger 4x4 APC (Armoured Personnel Carrier).

The product is an armored combat vehicle. It is designed to carry troops in a modern APC configuration.

“This is the most complex yet fastest vehicle development. Because dealing with just one supplier is much easier for us, as we don't have to deal with procurement, delays, or adaptations,” said Eka Suryajaya, CEO of PT SSE in Tangerang, on Thursday (23/1).

Eka explained that the new P2 Tiger can carry a team of 10 soldiers. And it can withstand enemy attacks.

Because it is designed with Stanag 4569 level two to four bullet resistance for ballistic and mine protection.

He stated that the new P2 Tiger relies on the Celeris mobility platform from Texelis, so it is claimed to be able to traverse various terrains..

One of the reasons for using the Texelis platform is their experience in making the French Army's Serval 4x4 APR. So there is no need to doubt its quality.

“We also chose them because technically they align with our vision for improving the performance of this latest P2 Tiger,” said Yusuf, Technology Director of SSE.

The P2 Tiger is said to offer better maneuverability, carrying capacity, and a larger engine power of 8,900 cc with 375 hp.

In addition, it has a maximum level of ballistic protection. So it can be relied upon on the battlefield.

The launch of this combat vehicle also aims to meet the MRAP needs for both domestic and foreign markets,

Furthermore, the new P2 Tiger is designed to be used by TNI AD (Army) soldiers throughout the country when on duty.
