Note 5 Mobile Driving License Locations in Jakarta Today, January 20, 2025

KatadataOTO – The Jakarta Mobile SIM service is an option for residents who want to manage their driving documents. This is because the Polda Metro Jaya has deployed them to several different locations today, Monday (20/1).

Residents can simply choose one of the five Jakarta Mobile SIM locations. So there is no need to go to the Satpas office.

Quoted from the Instagram account @tmcpoldametro, the Jakarta Mobile SIM schedule runs from 08.00-14.00 WIB. Drivers can arrive earlier to avoid queues.

It is a solution for those of you who are busy or do not have much time. Because the entire SIM renewal process is carried out in one strategic location.

Residents just need to visit one of today's Jakarta Mobile SIM locations, such as at Mall Citraland. Then register at the provided counter.

Just a reminder, a SIM is only valid for five years from the date of issuance. You must not be late in renewing the card-shaped driving document.

If it expires even by one day, then residents must follow the SIM issuance process at the Satpas Daan Mogot, West Jakarta.

The provision above is stated in the National Police Chief Regulation number 5 of 2021 article 4. Furthermore, Law number 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation article 85 paragraph 2.

However, renewing a SIM's validity cannot be done just like that. There are steps and requirements that need to be noted and brought.

SIM Renewal Fees 2024

Meanwhile, the fee for renewing a SIM A, according to Government Regulation (PP) Number 60 of 2016 concerning Non-Tax State Revenue, is Rp 80,000. Then for category C, the fee is only Rp 75,000.
