KatadataOTO – The Metro Jaya Regional Police will focus on several points prone to violations during Operation Keselamatan 2025. With this, it is hoped that the public can be more orderly in traffic and the risk of accidents will decrease.

This operation will be carried out for 24 hours utilizing all existing surveillance facilities. Starting from ETLE cameras to officers in the field.

"This joint operation is to improve traffic discipline and public compliance, reducing the number of violations and traffic accidents in the jurisdiction of the Metro Jaya Regional Police," said Inspector General Karyoto, Head of the Metro Jaya Regional Police, as reported by Antara (10/02).

He revealed that for each unit within the jurisdiction of the Metro Jaya Regional Police, Operation Keselamatan Jaya 2025 has different targets. This is adjusted to the types of violations that frequently occur in the area.

Central Jakarta

• Jalan Rajawali: Driving against the flow of traffic
• Pintu Besi traffic light: Vehicle registration plates not in accordance with regulations and use of strobes.
• Jembatan Merah Gunung Sahari traffic light: underage drivers and driving against the flow of traffic.

North Jakarta

• Jalan Raya Cilincing or Tanah Merdeka traffic light: Not using a helmet and vehicle registration plates
• Jalan RE. Martadinata or Jembatan Goyang traffic light: driving against the flow of traffic
• Jalan Raya Pakin or Mitra Bahari traffic light: not wearing a helmet and driving against the flow of traffic
• Jalan Raya Yos Sudarso or Permai traffic light: Not wearing a helmet, running red lights, and improper use of strobes.

West Jakarta

• Jalan Letjen S. Parman: Vehicle registration plates not in accordance with regulations
• Jalan Daan Mogot: improper use of strobes and underage drivers.
• Jalan Brigjen Katamso: driving against the flow of traffic
• Jalan Kemanggisan Raya: driving against the flow of traffic

South Jakarta 

• Robinson Pasar Minggu traffic light: not wearing a helmet
• Jalan Raya Fatmawati: Violating traffic signs)
• Jalan Ciputat Raya: driving against the flow of traffic.

East Jakarta
