KatadataOTO – To support the construction of the LRT Jakarta phase 1B Velodrome – Manggarai route, the DKI Transportation Agency will implement traffic diversions, including closing a number of road sections. This policy will be in effect starting today, Monday, April 28, 2025, until May 31, 2026.

The traffic diversion routes will focus on the Matraman area, East Jakarta. The large number of people passing through is a special concern due to the high potential for danger around the construction site.

This was announced on the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency's account. They have also prepared officers at strategic points to manage traffic flow.

Various signs have also been prepared by the Transportation Agency to ensure the public does not face difficulties while traveling.

Road users are also expected to reschedule before traveling by private vehicle. This is important to do so that their mobility is not disrupted.

However, it is recommended that road users find alternative routes to avoid congestion. This is because the location is a main route for the public, so severe traffic jams are expected.
