“We believe that the quality of national transportation is greatly determined by the quality of its people. Therefore, drivers must be empowered with the right understanding and habits,” said Christine Arifin, Marketing and Business Development Head of UD Trucks Indonesia at ICE BSD (27/07).

Located at the UD Trucks Booth in Hall 1D ICE BSD, participants were given an in-depth understanding of safe and efficient practices.

There was also a direct introduction to the superior safety features of the Quester Euro 5. These include the ESCOT transmission, full air brake system, and the driver coaching system from My UD Fleet.

“This is a tangible form of UD Trucks' commitment as a partner in Indonesia's logistics transformation. Using a holistic approach – from products and services to education,” explained Christine.

On that occasion, they also featured offroad content creator Julian Johan. He shared his direct experience testing two types of UD Trucks Quester Euro 5, including the ESCOT automatic transmission.

He said that trucks today are not just strong. But also smart and already equipped with technology like ESCOT.

So it can protect the driver, reduce fatigue, and promote work safety on the road.

“I believe modern drivers need to be trained not just technically, but also in their mindset. Safety education must be packaged with an approach that relates to their daily lives,” said Jeje.

Then from a technical perspective, Egika Agung as Technical Service for UD Trucks explained the many latest technologies from Quester.
