Toyota Veloz Hybrid Could Potentially Use Locally Assembled CATL Batteries

The Daihatsu Rocky Hybrid is expected to liven up the competition for environmentally friendly cars at GIIAS 2025.

Daihatsu claims that the Rocky Hybrid has quite efficient fuel consumption. One liter of gasoline can cover a distance of up to 28 kilometers.
The Daihatsu hybrid car is also equipped with various of the latest safety features. Starting from Smart Assist with 19 different functions.
Such as collision potential warnings and braking that support night mode, pedestrian detection, and traffic sign detection to provide ‘Maximum Speed’ and ‘Stop’ warnings.
It is also equipped with an electric parking brake, accompanied by ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) which can make long-distance driving more comfortable.
For your information, in Japan, the Daihatsu Rocky Hybrid is only available in two variants, namely X HEV and Premium G HEV.
