As a reminder, Geely had also expressed their desire to have their own factory in Indonesia.
However, Herlijoso revealed that the plan to build a Geely factory in Indonesia is still in the discussion phase.
Geely has not yet been able to decide on the timing for the construction of their production facility in the country.
“As of now, we have not received information on whether it will be realized in the near future or how,” he concluded.

In addition, the production process for Geely's electric and hybrid cars is also a consideration. Because they also have to use Indonesian-made batteries.
