"For Honda, the world of racing is not just about speed, but a part of our DNA that has been running for 40 years in Indonesia," said Yessy Anastasia, PR & Event Dept Head of HPM at GIIAS 2025, on Friday (01/08).
Yessy stated that Honda consistently provides a platform for young Indonesian racers to develop through various events.
Starting from One Make Race (OMR) events like the Honda Jazz Speed Challenge (HJSC), Honda Brio Speed Challenge (HBSC), and the Honda City Hatchback Speed Challenge (HCHSC).
Since 2013, the Honda Brio has been one of the mainstays in national racing events, including in the HBSC class and the Indonesia Touring Car Race (ITCR) National Championship. This car transforms into a tough, competitive, and efficient racing vehicle.
"We want the world of racing to be accessible to anyone to prove the performance and toughness of our technology, which is used daily but is proven capable on the track," continued Yessy.
Lastly, Yessy conveyed that in the future, Honda will continue to support the world of racing in Indonesia. Because the spirit of competition and talent development are important parts of their journey.
