According to Gaikindo data, new car retail sales in May 2025 increased by 7 percent.

That figure comes with a potential correction of up to 750 units. However, there is also a chance it could rise to 900 thousand units.
This is despite Gaikindo having set the new car sales target for 2025 at 850 thousand.
Therefore, manufacturers like Toyota, Daihatsu, Mitsubishi, BYD, Chery, and others must work together to reinvigorate new car sales throughout 2025.
Moreover, there are still six months left to boost new car sales. In addition, there are several exhibitions this year, such as GIIAS 2025.
