Various new car models from brands such as Toyota to Suzuki are set to arrive, with the majority being electrified lineups.
Suzuki will market its first electric car domestically, the e Vitara. During this year's exhibition, PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) has already brought in its prototype version as an introduction.
The Suzuki e Vitara will fill the currently crowded electric-powered SUV segment. PT SIS has started gathering consumer responses since its appearance at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show or GIIAS 2025.
On the official Suzuki website, potential buyers can register for a wishlist and obtain further information regarding the arrival of the e Vitara in 2026.
For the first time, BYD is rumored to be bringing a PHEV model for customers in the country. Currently, BYD's entire vehicle line-up consists of Electric Vehicles (EVs).
There are several models that could potentially enter Indonesia or have even had their patents registered. Such as the BYD King and King L sedans, with a DM-i or PHEV configuration, their appearance is briefly similar to the Seal.
Then there are the Sealion 05 EV and Sealion 08 PHEV. Both fill the SUV segment with 5-seater and 7-seater configurations.
Then the name SC3E-STD-1 (4X2) is suspected to be the code for the BYD Atto 2, registered on the Samsat-PKB page.
The Motor Vehicle Sales Value (NJKB) of the Atto 2 is listed from IDR 245 million to IDR 281 million. This is not the final selling price as it does not yet include taxes.
