The price of the Chery J6T increased by Rp 20 Million, the cheapest variant is now Rp 545.5 Million.

KatadataOTO – Entering 2026, a number of car manufacturers have started making price adjustments. Especially for electric vehicles because government incentives have been discontinued.

One model experiencing a fairly high price increase is Chery J6T. Although newly launched, the car is now sold starting from Rp 545.5 million to Rp 605.5 million.

Whereas in December 2025, the price was still Rp 525.5 million. Meanwhile, the top variant was Rp 585.5 million.

This means there is an increase of Rp 20 million for each type. This difference certainly has a significant impact on customers.

However, customers still get several benefits such as a free wall charger and an eight-year battery warranty.

It should be noted that the Chery J6T was officially launched in November 2025. The car is equipped with various interesting features to support its customers' mobility.

In terms of appearance, the Chery J6T looks more robust because the manufacturer has installed thick over-fenders from front to back. The manufacturer also installed a new front bumper combined with a glossy front dual guard.

Not only that, the use of the 'i' letter logo on the front has been replaced with the Chery emblem. Then, the placement of the front camera was also revised. It is now embedded in the middle of the grille as well.

A number of other accessories have also been added, such as a front aero vent, hood shapes, fog lamps, and a larger cargo box. To make it look more robust, the car is equipped with 19-inch wheels and 245/55 tires.

This gives the Chinese EV a higher ground clearance of 225 mm. The Chery J6T platform has also been developed, claiming to be 30 percent stronger while its weight has been reduced by 30 percent.

Moving into the cabin, the Chery J6T has received various interesting changes. Starting from the AC vent design, armrest box, to the headrest.

Chery also provides a large central screen powered by a Snapdragon chip to be more responsive.

In terms of performance, there are no changes. The manufacturer still uses batteries with capacities of 65.69 kWh and 69.77 kWh. It is claimed to offer a range of up to 431 km and 436 km.

This power is used to drive an electric motor capable of producing 181 hp and 220 Nm of torque in the RWD variant. Meanwhile, the iWD type offers a combined power of up to 274 hp and a peak torque of 385 Nm.
