KatadataOTO – Parts of Jakarta were once again submerged by floods on Tuesday (08/07) morning. This was due to heavy rainfall since Monday afternoon.
In fact, according to the records of the Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPDB), the floodwaters have continued to expand.
“As of 06:00 AM WIB, flooding has occurred in 46 RTs,” said Isnawa Adji, Chief Executive of the Jakarta BPDB, as quoted by Antara.
According to Isnawa, the Jakarta floods initially only affected 35 RTs. However, it continued to expand as several rivers overflowed.
The water level in this Jakarta flood varies. Ranging from 30 cm to 1.3 meters in several locations.
Of course, this condition makes it difficult for the public. Because their activities, such as going to the office and school, are hampered.
For those of you who often use electric cars for various activities, it is advised not to drive through the Jakarta floods today.
Although Electric Vehicles (EVs) are claimed to be safe for crossing puddles of water. However, it is still not recommended.
