Meanwhile, the Xpeng X9 is equipped with an electric motor with 496 hp and a peak torque of 640 Nm.
The electric four-wheeler is offered with two battery capacity options. First, an 84.5 kWh battery capable of covering a distance of up to 610 km on a single charge.
Second, a 101.5 kWh battery that can take the Xpeng X9 as far as 720 km. All power is also channeled to the front wheels through an FWD drive system.
Discussing safety features, Denza D9 owners can utilize a level two ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System). It is also supported by high-accuracy LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging), cameras, and sensors.
On the other hand, the Xpeng X9 is no less impressive when it comes to safety features. It has an anti-lock braking system, brake assist, electronic brake distribution, vehicle stability control, emergency stop signal, and a 360 camera. However, this EV does not rely on LiDAR, but is instead equipped with Pure Vision, similar to Tesla's.
It's worth noting that the price of the Denza D9 starts from Rp 900 million. Meanwhile, the estimated price tag for the Xpeng X9 will not be much different from its compatriot's.
This makes it an attractive option for consumers in Indonesia who want to own a premium vehicle like the Toyota Alphard. Considering this Japanese product is sold for Rp 1.9 billion.
