7. Lampung

Quoting the official website diskominfotik.lampungprovinsi.go.id, the vehicle tax amnesty there runs from May 1 to July 31, 2025.

It includes the abolition of late payment fines for PKB, principal arrears, and SWDKLLJ fines for both two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles.

The public is also urged to take advantage of this program immediately before it ends later this month.

8. West Sumatra

Not only Lampung, West Sumatra is also indulging the public by presenting a motor vehicle tax amnesty from June 25, 2025, to August 31, 2025.

In a post on the official website of the West Sumatra Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda), they are providing waivers for principal tax arrears, fines, second vehicle title transfer fees, progressive tax, and SWDKLLJ fines.

9. Aceh

Aceh completes the list of regions holding a motor vehicle tax amnesty on the island of Sumatra in July 2025

According to an Instagram post from @bpkaaceh, they are waiving the progressive vehicle tax until December 31, 2025.

“Your motor vehicle tax is for the progress of Aceh's development,” they wrote.

10. Papua

The Governor of Papua is again providing tax policy relaxation to the public in the form of waiving tax fines and reducing the principal of motor vehicle tax.

The amount is quite significant, reaching 5 percent to 40 percent. It is valid from May 15 to August 29, 2025.

“Motor vehicle owners with tax arrears will have their fines waived and will also be given a reduction or discount of 30 percent for taxpayers who have been in arrears for two years or more,” reads the announcement on the official papua.go.id website.

11. South Papua

Finally, South Papua is one of the provinces holding a vehicle tax amnesty in July 2025. It will then end on August 25, 2025

The public can take advantage of this relief by visiting the Samsat offices in Merauke, Boven Digoel, Mappi, or the Bank Papua counters in Tanah Miring and Kurik.
