KatadataOTO – Mazda CX-60 Sport is the lowest variant of the CX-60 Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) that offers a number of advantages.

This model aims to target more consumers who want to use Mazda's vehicle lineup with some configuration differences from other types like the Pro.

For example, the drivetrain is adjusted to Rear Wheel Drive (RWD). The Pro variant is equipped with All Wheel Drive (AWD).

In the same class, the Mazda CX-60 Sport competes directly with the Honda CR-V Turbo. However, the CX-60 is offered at a lower price.

This product was launched at the GIIAS 2025 event. KatadataOTO had the opportunity to briefly test the unit around the Shangri-La Hotel area, Central Jakarta, during the opening of the Mazda Media Drive.

Driving Position

Despite being the “cheapest” type of the Mazda CX-60, a luxurious impression still dominates the cabin. The driver's seat is also easy to adjust as it is electric.

Getting a comfortable driving position is not difficult, including for drivers with a height of around 150 cm.

The placement of the control buttons is also within easy reach. The transmission, driving modes, and electric parking brake are located in the center console area.

The AC settings are still physical buttons. So, adapting to this car is not difficult.

Driving Sensation

The provided route was quite limited, only circling the Shangri-La hotel area. However, we got a small glimpse of the driving sensation of the Mazda CX-60 Sport in a dense urban area.
