KatadataOTOAletra L8 EV is one of the electric cars available in Indonesia. This product is claimed to offer many advantages.

Starting from its design, interior, to performance. It is said to be reliable for young families in Indonesia.

Coincidentally, KatadataOTO had the opportunity to test drive the Electric Vehicle (EV). The route was from South Jakarta to Magelang, Central Java.

During the trip, each Aletra L8 EV unit was occupied by four people. This allowed them to take turns driving every few hundred kilometers.

Exterior and Design

When discussing the exterior, the Aletra L8 EV offers an elegant design. Its front appearance looks futuristic.

This is due to the integration of an LED lighting system and Daytime Running Lights (DRL) in the headlights.

Aletra also designed the headlights to be slightly slanted. This makes the four-wheeled vehicle look quite sporty.

In terms of dimensions, the electric MPV has a length of 4,812 mm, a width of 1,909 mm, and a height of 1,699 mm. The wheelbase is 2,807 mm, and the ground clearance is 160 mm.

These dimensions make this product one of the largest electric Multi-Purpose Vehicles (MPVs) in its class. It provides a spacious cabin for seven passengers.

For the wheels, the Aletra L8 EV is equipped with 18-inch two-tone alloy rims. They are wrapped in Hankook ION tires.

Interior

Moving inside, the Aletra electric car's cabin offers a luxurious impression. It features a soft-touch dashboard, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and two-tone leather seats.

The Aletra L8 EV appears to retain physical buttons. Such as for operating the AC, mirrors, starting the car, and the transmission lever.

This makes it easier for the driver on the road. Therefore, it doesn't require a long adaptation period.
