KatadataOTO – Car sales in Indonesia faced pressure in June 2025. Based on Gaikindo data, four-wheeled vehicle wholesales only reached 57,760 units, a decrease of 2,852 units from May 2025.

When compared to the same period last year, the difference is even greater. This is because in June 2024, car wholesales reached 74,615 units, or 16,855 units higher than now.

The Daihatsu Sigra became the best-selling car in Indonesia throughout June 2025 with wholesales of 2,742 units. This figure is actually a decrease compared to May 2025, which recorded sales of 3,059 units.

Then, the Toyota Avanza had to drop one rank from last month as it only managed to sell 2,631 units to dealers. That figure is also down from the previous month, which recorded 3,360 units.

The Toyota Kijang Innova Zenix did not move from its third-place position, selling 2,518 units. This number experienced a slight decrease, as in May 2025, the model had 2,950 units shipped.

After being knocked out of the top five last month, the Honda Brio managed to improve its position to fourth place with sales of 2,480 units to dealers. That number is higher than in May, which was only 2,385 units.

The Toyota Rush closed out the top five with wholesales of 2,355 units. That number is a slight decrease from the previous month's 2,431 units.

An interesting note comes from the Suzuki Fronx, which was launched some time ago. The SUV managed to record sales of 1,782 units and secured the seventh rank.

Then the Daihatsu Denza D9 also recorded high sales figures, namely 1,768 units, and sits in the eighth position. That number even surpassed the Toyota Calya, which is in ninth place with sales of 1,662 units.
