Honda Claims to Maintain Stock in 2025 Amid Plummeting Wholesales

A total of 200 Honda Step WGN e: HEV units were ordered by visitors at GIIAS 2025 after their official launch.

KatadataOTO – The Honda Step WGN e: HEV is claimed to have received a positive reception from automotive enthusiasts. This happened after it was officially marketed at GIIAS 2025.
According to Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) records, 200 units of their new hybrid car have already been ordered by consumers.
“We greatly appreciate the trust and enthusiasm of the consumers who have ordered the Honda Step WGN e: HEV,” said Shugo Watanabe, President Director of HPM, through an official statement.
Watanabe expressed his gratitude that the new four-wheeled vehicle has been well-received by the public. Especially by young families in the country.
As a result, hundreds of units of the Honda Step WGN e: HEV were ordered after being marketed at the GIIAS 2025 exhibition.
He also assured that the delivery of the hybrid-powered product will not take long. So the car can be used by its prospective owners soon.
“In the future, we will continue to accelerate distribution to all regions of Indonesia to ensure more families can experience the comfort of the Honda Step WGN e: HEV,” Watanabe continued.
For your information, the manufacturer with the upright H logo had already handed over the Honda Step WGN e: HEV to the first 20 buyers.
The handover took place during the GIIAS 2025 exhibition at the Honda booth on Saturday (02/08).
On the other hand, Yusak Billy, Sales & Pemasaran serta Purna Jual HPM mengaku senang atas sambutan baik masyarakat kepada mobil baru mereka.
Billy explained that the Honda Step WGN e: HEV is specially designed for the comfort of families in Indonesia. It has various advantages, such as a spacious cabin.
Additionally, there are 100 functional features specially designed to meet the needs of every family member.
“We have prepared comprehensive after-sales services with a network of official dealers and workshops throughout Indonesia to support the ownership experience,” said Billy.
He also hopes that in the future, the Honda Step WGN e: HEV will become increasingly popular among automotive enthusiasts in the country. And that it will achieve success like previous products.
“We are confident this car will bring deeper meaning to the daily lives of Indonesian families,” Billy concluded.
It is worth noting that the price of the Honda Step WGN e:HEV is around Rp 629 million. This amount is the On The Road (OTR) price for DKI Jakarta.
