Advantages of Omoda O9 SHS Set to Launch in Indonesia

KatadataOTO – Although the time has not been announced, the Omoda O9 SHS is confirmed to be launched in Indonesia. The SUV is the company's flagship car, so it is equipped with various advantages that are expected to meet the driving needs of the public.

Therefore, it is not surprising that the company is trying to continuously introduce the car to the public. One of these efforts was at the Omoda & Jaecoo International User Summit 2025, which was held in Wuhu, China.

The Omoda O9 SHS comes with Quad-Motor AWD PHEV technology. With four independent drive motors, this SUV is capable of producing a combined output of up to 395 kW and a peak torque of 650 Nm.

Thanks to this, the car can reach a speed of 100 km per hour in just 4.9 seconds from a standstill. Because it uses an AWD system, the torque distribution between the front and rear wheels will be automatically adjusted to suit the needs on the road.

To make the journey more comfortable, the car is equipped with an electromagnetic-based CDC Adaptive Suspension system. Thanks to this, drivers can drive more smoothly and confidently on various road terrains.

The Omoda O9 SHS is equipped with a 34.46 kWh battery and a 70-liter fuel tank. This combination allows the car to travel  more than 1,100 km on a single full charge.

Interestingly, the car is also equipped with a 65 kW DC fast charging feature, allowing the battery to be charged from 30 percent to 80 percent in just 25 minutes.

Another advantage of the Omoda O9 SHS is that the car uses 85 percent high-strength steel with a “space capsule” design. Thanks to this, the car has received a five-star safety rating from E-NCAP and A-NCAP.
