KatadataOTO – Although not yet officially launched, the Aion UT is already being offered by salespeople. They mention that the car will come in two variants: Standard and Premium.

This is expected to make it easier for people to get a vehicle that suits their needs.

“The price is not official yet, but the Standard type is around Rp 270 million to Rp 290 million. Meanwhile, the Premium type is under Rp 350 million,” revealed one of the salespeople to KatadataOTO (25/06).

He revealed that there are three main differences between the two variants. First, the Premium type is equipped with a Panoramic roof, while the standard type is not.

Then, a power back door is not available on the Standard type, while the premium one has it.

Next is the performance, including battery capacity, driving range, and power output.

Based on the data provided, the Aion UT Standard type is equipped with a 44.1 kWh battery, capable of a 400 km range. Meanwhile, its electric motor can produce 134 hp and 145 Nm of torque.

The Premium type has a larger battery at 60 kWh, sufficient for a range of up to 500 km. Its electric motor also has more impressive performance, capable of delivering 201 hp and 210 Nm of torque.

“Orders can now be placed with a booking fee of Rp 5 million. You will immediately get an early bird price with a discount of Rp 2 million,” he then revealed.

He also added that units will be delivered to customers after the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025.

“Units will be delivered to customers in September 2025,” he then affirmed.

The car is also rumored to be produced locally, so production is expected to proceed quickly. This is certainly beneficial for customers as they won't have to wait too long for their units.

It was previously reported that Aion Indonesia had displayed the silhouette of a new vehicle on its official website. Although there is no official information, the photo shown is enough to depict the car's form.

From there, several features of the Aion UT are visible, such as the fog lamps on the bumper used by the vehicle.
