KatadataOTO – BMW is set to attend the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025 with four new models. These products are expected to offer new options for the premium market segment in the country.
Although the specific models to be launched were not detailed, the BMW iX is confirmed to be one of them.
“BMW will launch four new models including the latest BMW iX,” said Peter Sunny Medalla, President Director of BMW Group Indonesia (18/06).
This brings the total number of BMW cars to be displayed during the event to 19 units. Meanwhile, Mini will have 11 units on display for the public.
Their presence at GIIAS 2025 is expected to be proof of their commitment to their customers.
Even with GIIAS 2025 approaching, BMW continues to launch its products as a prelude. The German manufacturer has just introduced its latest products: the BMW 218 Gran Coupe M Sport and the BMW X3 xDrive M Sport.
It should be noted that the BMW 218 Gran Coupe M Sport comes with various attractive features. On the exterior, for example, this car is equipped with a wide kidney grille, giving it a bold impression.
To enhance its modern look, the manufacturer has fitted adaptive LED headlamps as standard. The car is also equipped with 18-inch M light alloy wheels Y-spoke style 975 M Bicolour.
The manufacturer has also equipped it with a 1,500 cc engine capable of producing 156 hp and up to 230 Nm of torque. Thanks to this, the car can reach 100 km per hour in 8.6 seconds.
As for the BMW X3 xDrive M Sport, the car has been redesigned for a sharper look. The company has changed the appearance of the kidney grille and installed slim-design LED headlights.
The dimensions of the BMW X3 xDrive M Sport are 4,755 mm in length, 1,920 mm in width, and a wheelbase of 2,865 mm. Meanwhile, the ground clearance is 216 mm.
This car uses a 2,000 cc engine that can produce 190 hp and 310 Nm of torque. This power allows the BMW X3 xDrive M Sport to accelerate from 0 to 100 km in 8.5 seconds.
The new BMW X3 features a 48V mild hybrid system with an 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission.
