KatadataOTO – Although present without any new models, Daihatsu still offers various conveniences for people who want to make a purchase at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025. Especially since the event takes place ahead of the fasting month, when people are generally looking for new vehicles for the homecoming trip.
Therefore, Daihatsu is also collaborating with several financing companies to offer various credit packages. Customers can make purchases according to their respective needs and abilities.
For customers who make a purchase at the event, there are also various promos. Starting from free admin fees, special credit packages, direct prizes in the form of precious metals, car accessory packages, and various other attractive gifts.
“Daihatsu's participation in the IIMS 2025 exhibition in Jakarta is our part in the series of automotive exhibitions, and we also want to contribute to the national automotive market. We are happy to serve visitors who come to the Daihatsu booth at this exhibition,” said Tri Mulyono, Marketing & Customer Relations Division Head of PT Astra International – Daihatsu Sales Operation.
It should be noted that at IIMS 2024, Daihatsu brought at least four of their flagship units, namely the Xenia ADS X, Rocky 1.2 X CVT ADS, Ayla R CVT ADS, and Sirion R CVT. The Japanese manufacturer also provides test drive facilities for visitors who want to experience the vehicles in Hall D.
One of them is the Daihatsu Ayla, which is one of the backbones of its sales in Indonesia. This car has been under development since 2023 and uses the DNGA (Daihatsu New Global Architecture) platform because it is claimed to have several advantages.
This car is equipped with a 1,200 cc 3-cylinder engine capable of producing 86 hp at 6,000 rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm. This performance is claimed to be sufficient to meet urban mobility needs.
Then, various safety features have been embedded, starting from Dual SRS Airbags and a Seat Belt Reminder on all variants. Furthermore, there are HSA (Hill Start Assist), VSC (Vehicle Stability Control), ABS (Antilock Brake System), and EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution).
