KatadataOTO – The BYD Atto 3 Advanced STD was officially launched today to provide more options for the public. The car has had its features adjusted compared to the higher-end variant, making it more affordable without compromising quality.
The presence of this model is claimed to be part of BYD's commitment to expanding public access to environmentally friendly mobility.
“BYD continues to listen to consumer needs and adapt strategically. Through the presence of the BYD Atto 3 Advanced STD variant, we want to reach more consumer segments,” said Eagle Zhao, President Director of PT BYD Motor Indonesia in his press release (26/05).
At a glance from the exterior, the difference is not very noticeable. This is because the company still includes the LED headlight strip and Crystal LED headlights, so its appearance remains sleek.
Entering the cabin, BYD has equipped it with a black interior with ambient lighting, a 6-way electric driver's seat, and a 4-way front passenger seat. Consumers are also still spoiled by a spacious trunk with a capacity of up to 1,340L.
However, to make the price more affordable, BYD has removed several key features in the Atto 3 Advanced STD. These include the panoramic sunroof, roof rail, wireless charger, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Automatic Emergency Braking System.
Nevertheless, several features considered important are still included. These include a 12.8-inch rotatable touchscreen, a 6-speaker audio system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, NFC Digital Key & Bluetooth Key, and Vehicle-to-Load (VTOL) technology up to 3.3 kW.
To make it more appealing, the BYD Atto 3 Advanced STD comes with a new exterior color option, Harbour Gray, which complements the other attractive colors like Surf Blue, Ski White, and Cosmos Black.
The BYD Atto 3 Advanced STD is priced at Rp 390 million. This price is Rp 80 million cheaper than the Standard Range, which is valued at Rp 470 million.
