Electric Car Prices April 2025, BYD Seal Drops by Around Rp 9 Million

KatadataOTO – Electric cars are one of the environmentally friendly vehicle alternatives offered to the public. The price range is from IDR 100 million to over IDR 1 billion.

Slowly, the options are increasing, especially products from China. Meanwhile, Japanese manufacturers still tend to focus only on HEVs (Hybrid Electric Vehicles).

Throughout 2025, EV (Electric Vehicle) or electric cars will still receive incentive discounts as part of a government program.

The hope is that this will make electric car prices more competitive and a choice for many people.

BYD offers five flagship models, namely the Dolphin, Atto 3, Seal, M6, and the newest is the Sealion 7. Only one model, the Seal, has undergone a price adjustment.

Then at the PEVS (Periklindo Electric Vehicle Show) event, Wuling introduced an electric-powered van, the Wuling EV Van. It has just been introduced, so no official price has been announced yet.

Seres introduced a new model, its second EV after the E1, the Seres 3, which is offered at a price of IDR 370 million.

Electric car prices have been relatively stable this month. Only one brand has raised the price of its vehicle, the Hyundai Ioniq 6, by IDR 30 million.
