KatadataOTO – The war between Israel and Iran continues to rage. Especially after the United States (US) also got involved.

Uncle Sam's country launched three consecutive attacks on three locations in Iran. Starting from Fordo, Natanz to Isfahan.

Iran did not remain silent after being attacked. They again launched missiles at the US airbase in Qatar.

Seeing the escalating situation, the war between Iran and Israel is predicted to last a long time.

Many parties even speculate that Iran's attacks will become more massive, threatening several sectors there.

One of them is the Port of Haifa in Israel. Because it is one of the places for shipping goods, such as electric cars.

They fear that the Port of Haifa will become an easy target for Iranian missiles, thus endangering the shipping process.

"The country's shipping and port administration agency has reportedly ordered car importers to prepare to evacuate all Electric Vehicles (EV) from the ports," Carscoops reported on Tuesday (24/06).

The report also stated that the Maritime Executive wants all electric four-wheeled vehicles to be moved from the Ports of Haifa and Ashdod.

"They want these electric cars to be transported to a location or an empty parking lot, far from critical infrastructure," Carscoops continued.

For your information, the Port of Haifa receives nearly 20 tons of cargo annually. It is considered a suitable target for Iranian missiles.

If Iran were to bombard that location, it would be very difficult to handle because there are many electric cars.

"This could be a huge problem if rows of EVs catch fire after a missile strike," they concluded.

The Difficulty of Handling Electric Car Fires

Indeed, upon closer inspection, it is not impossible for Iran to launch its missiles to attack strategic locations in Israel.

One of them is the electric car storage warehouse at the Port of Haifa.
