Ford Mustang Set to Launch at GIIAS 2025

KatadataOTO – Ford Mustang is confirmed to be launched at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025. The presence of this car is believed to make it the star of the show.

This is because the Ford Mustang is one of the most legendary cars from the American manufacturer.

Unfortunately, RMA Indonesia, as the APM distributor for Ford in Indonesia, did not specify which type they will bring. There are at least three variants in the world for customers to choose from.

First is the Ford Mustang Standard with a 2,300 cc turbo EcoBoost engine. The powertrain is capable of producing 315 hp and 350 Nm of torque.

Then there is also the Ford Mustang GT500 with a 5,000 cc V8 engine. The powertrain can unleash 760 hp and 847 Nm of torque.

The car is equipped with several driving modes such as Normal, Sport, Track, and Drag. Each can be selected according to the driver's needs.

The Ford Mustang features its signature aggressive design. Its hood is fitted with dual vents to release heat from the inside out.

Inside the cabin, the Ford Mustang maintains its sporty design. Interestingly, the manufacturer has also included several entertainment features to accompany the journey.

Besides bringing the Ford Mustang, RMA Indonesia will also ensure their presence at GIIAS 2025 is attractive. They have collaborated with a number of creators and public figures to present collaborative units.

These works will be displayed during GIIAS 2025 in the special display area of the Ford booth as a form of appreciation for the creativity and innovation of the nation's youth.

Not only that, they will also bring their flagship models in the country. One of them is the Ford Everest Sport, which was just launched in April 2025. This car has black accents on the grille, door handles, roof rails, and door mirrors, and the signature C-Clamp design on the LED Headlamps equipped with DRL. Moving to the side, the car is equipped with 20-inch alloy wheels, making it more attractive.

As for its powertrain, the car is equipped with a 2.0L Turbo diesel engine 4x2 6AT to produce 170 hp with 405 Nm of torque. The power is channeled to the wheels through a 6-speed SelectShift™ automatic transmission to ensure smooth and efficient gear shifts.
