RMA Indonesia launches the latest generation Ford Ranger XL commercial vehicle; check out the price offered.
KatadataOTO – PT RMA Indonesia is introducing its newest model to the Indonesian market, the New Ranger XL. The product is only available in one transmission type: manual.
Unlike their other models in the country, the Ford Ranger XL targets consumers who use their vehicles for commercial needs such as in plantations or mining.
“With all its advantages, the Next Generation Ford Ranger XL is the ideal partner to support productivity in the mining industry with its tough terrain,” said Toto Suharto, Country Manager of RMA Indonesia in South Jakarta, Thursday (23/1).
The latest product from Ford is claimed to have tough off-road performance and a large carrying capacity, making it ideal for operations in various industrial sectors.
For your information, the offered type uses a 2,000 cc Single Turbo engine with 4WD (Four Wheel Drive). The power output is 167 hp with a fierce torque of 405 Nm.
The L x W x H dimensions of the Ford Ranger XL's bed are 1,564 mm x 1,584 mm x 540 mm, allowing it to carry various types of cargo.
Not just performance, the Ford Ranger XL also prioritizes driver safety. For example, it features seven-point airbags, an anti-lock braking system, traction control, and hill descent control.
No need to worry about entertainment, as there is a 10.1-inch touchscreen with integrated Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which also supports Bluetooth and USB connectivity.
If consumers are interested, this car can now be ordered with a price tag of around IDR 521 million on the road in Jakarta, which includes a unit warranty and free spare parts maintenance for three years or 60,000 km, with terms and conditions.
The consideration is based on the pickup double cabin market in Indonesia. So far, the proportion of manual transmission units has dominated, especially in the 4x4 double cabin segment.
Its consumers are also spread across various islands besides Java, such as Sumatra, Bali, and Kalimantan. Typically, the vehicle is used for mining operations.
However, it remains multifunctional as it can support other mobility needs for official and government purposes. Thus, it is considered to have a large market in the country.
