KatadataOTO – GWM doesn't want to be left behind in tempting visitors at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025.

In the exhibition held at ICE BSD, Tangerang, they brought the GWM Tank 300 diesel.

The four-wheeled vehicle is suitable for adventure activity enthusiasts, especially offroad.

"We are taking a step further by presenting a diesel variant as part of our global commitment to providing various technology options," said Bagus Susanto, CEO of GWM Indonesia at GIIAS 2025, on Tuesday (23/07).

Speaking of appearance, the design of the GWM Tank 300 Diesel does not look much different from the hybrid version that was previously marketed in the country.

The car from China looks very tough and fierce, typical of an adventure four-wheeled vehicle.

Entering the GWM Tank 300 Diesel's cabin, a number of modern features have been embedded by the manufacturer from the Land of the Bamboo Curtain.

For example, GWM provides a 360-degree camera feature. Then there is the level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems.

Including Adaptive Cruise Control, Traffic Jam Assist, Lane Center Keeping, and various other features that help the driver stay alert and comfortable in various road conditions.

It should be noted that this Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) has a two-row configuration, able to accommodate up to five passengers in the cabin.

In the mechanical heart sector, the GWM Tank 300 Diesel is embedded with a 2,400 cc turbo diesel engine.

With this configuration, the GWM Tank 300 Diesel is claimed to be able to produce 181 hp at 3,600 rpm. Then the peak torque reaches 480 Nm at 1,500 rpm-2,500 rpm.

The GWM Tank 300 Diesel is also equipped with a nine-speed automatic transmission system, claimed to spoil its owners.

It should be noted that the 4WD variant is also equipped with three mode options: 2H, 4H, and 4L. It can be relied upon to face various road terrains.
