KatadataOTO – Although the automotive market is currently under pressure, Hyundai Motors Indonesia has confirmed it will continue to launch new products. In fact, modern models will offer more choices in the future.

After the Palisade Hybrid, Hyundai will once again introduce a product in a high-volume segment designed for the needs of the local market.

“We are developing a specific local model that will be launched in the near future,” said Ju Hun Lee, President Director of PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID).

Although he did not explain the product in detail, he revealed that the car will be produced directly locally.

“The unit will be produced and designed to enhance the Indonesian lifestyle. I believe we can develop everything in the near future,” he added.

It was previously reported that the Hyundai Stargazer facelift is being developed for an update in the near future. The model has even been spotted several times undergoing testing while wrapped in camouflage stickers.

The model has even been registered on the Samsat PKB page with the code Cartenz. Impressively, they have submitted at least six new types.

Referring to information on the Samsat-PKB page, the sale value of the refreshed Stargazer version is listed from Rp 174 million to Rp 221 million.

However, it should be noted that this figure does not include other fees and taxes, or the benchmark for the final selling price.

If observed, the headlight position has changed from the previous version because it is now in the area that was previously the horizontal LED bar. The grille design also appears to have changed to become more minimalist.

Not only that, the Hyundai Stargazer facelift is believed to have added roof rails. The rear area of the car is covered, so the taillight design cannot be seen clearly.

Although there is no official information yet, some salespeople have started to leak some of the superior features that will be embedded in the car.

Among them are Lane Keep Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control so that the driver can drive more comfortably.
