KatadataOTO – Hyundai Venue officially launched at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025. This Compact SUV is ready to target the youth segment who want to look different and stand out on the streets.

Its presence is believed to strengthen Hyundai in the SUV segment, which already includes several models like the Creta and Palisade.

“The complete Hyundai SUV lineup aims to meet the demand in each segment so we can better answer consumer needs. Whatever their preferences and priorities,” said Ju Hun Lee, President Director of PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (13/02).

The Hyundai Venue comes with a sporty design featuring a chrome-plated grille, giving it a luxurious impression. The South Korean manufacturer also added LED Projector headlights equipped with Daytime Running Lights (DRL) to ensure optimal lighting in all situations.

The Hyundai Venue's cabin space is designed to feel spacious with 1,040 mm of legroom in the first row and 905 mm in the second row. The trunk capacity is also large, reaching 343 liters, capable of accommodating up to three gym bags or two cabin-sized suitcases.

For entertainment, the car is equipped with an 8-inch display screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Thanks to this, drivers can connect to their smartphones for navigation, entertainment, and communication.

The heart of the Hyundai Venue is a 1,000 cc Turbo GDI engine. The power output is quite substantial at 118 hp at 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 172 Nm at 1,500-4,000 rpm.

This performance is then channeled to the two front wheels through a 7-Speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT). To adapt the driving style to various activities, Hyundai provides three driving mode options: Eco, Normal, and Sport.
