KatadataOTO – The Indonesia International Motor Show is set to be held from February 5 to 15, 2026. In the exhibition, dozens of vehicle brands, both four-wheeled and two-wheeled, will participate.

However, the most interesting part is the presence of iCar, one of Chery's sub-brands. The brand is rumored to be making its debut in Indonesia at IIMS 2026.

“They are part of PT Chery Sales Indonesia but with their own brand. At IIMS 2026, they will bring a product that has been locally assembled,” said Rifkie Setiawan, Head of Brand at Chery Sales Indonesia.

Although not specified in detail, it is highly likely that the car is the V23, which has already been launched in Malaysia. Its presence will certainly be a special attraction for customers in the country.

For the RWD option, the car is equipped with a motor producing 100 kW or 134 hp. The peak torque reaches 180 Nm for the RWD type.

To support this performance, it is equipped with a 59.93 kWh LFP battery. It can travel up to 360 km on a single charge (NEDC).

Meanwhile, the iCar V23 iWD carries a 55 kW electric motor, equivalent to 74 hp. Then, the maximum torque reaches 112 Nm at the front.

Furthermore, the rear is equipped with a 100 kW or 134 hp motor and 180 Nm of torque.
