IIMS 2026 Will Feature a Larger Exhibition Area

KatadataOTO – The Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2026 will be held from February 5 to 15. Although it will still be held at JIExpo Kemayoran, the exhibition area will be expanded to provide more comfort for visitors.

At IIMS 2025, the exhibition area was only 133,547 m2. Meanwhile, next year, it will increase to 156,170 m2.

This area expansion aims to provide more space for exhibitors to showcase innovation, entertainment, and interaction with visitors. This move also shows that the organizers continue to adapt to meet the increasingly diverse market needs.

“We are confident that IIMS 2026 is a strategic business platform where manufacturers, distributors, communities, and business partners meet, collaborate, and create new opportunities,” said Daswar Marpaung, President Director of Dyandra Promosindo in his press release (22/08).

To make transactions easier for visitors, they will partner with several financing companies. Thus, it is hoped that consumers will not have difficulty making transactions during the exhibition.

Just like in previous years, IIMS 2026 will not only be a vehicle exhibition. Because in this annual event, various interesting programs such as IIMS Infinite Live and IIMS Infinite Show will be held again.

IIMS Infinite Live will present a series of music performances from top musicians. Titled 11 Days of Exclusive Music Concert, a variety of music genres will be presented.

Meanwhile, IIMS Infinite Show will be the center of entertaining automotive attractions, from motorcycle freestyle shows to car attractions.

Not only that, Dyandra Promosindo also confirmed that it will bring IIMS to several major cities such as Surabaya and Balikpapan. Thus, it is hoped that the automotive industry can develop more quickly.

“We see extraordinary potential in major cities outside of Jakarta, so it was decided that IIMS Surabaya will be held again next year. In addition, IIMS will also be present in a new city, namely Balikpapan,” explained Rudi MF, Project Manager of IIMS.
