Usually, this happens when the battery filter is dirty and needs to be cleaned or when its temperature is high. The battery filter ventilation on the Innova Zenix Hybrid is located near the front left seat.

“So if someone places items like shoes or a bag there, it gets covered (the ventilation),” said Joni Hermawan, a mechanic at Auto2000 Pramuka, when met in Tangerang recently.

Joni revealed that the habit of placing items in the car's battery ventilation area can cause the area to become hot and dusty.

If the battery indicator on the Innova Zenix Hybrid lights up, Joni advises vehicle owners to take the vehicle directly to an official workshop to be checked.

At Auto2000, the hybrid car will be checked using a special tool to detect the source of the problem.

“If it's within the warranty period, we usually replace it (the problematic battery),” Joni explained.

Unfortunately, he was reluctant to detail the estimated cost required for an Innova Zenix Hybrid battery replacement if it is not covered by the warranty.

However, it should be noted that the estimated price of an Innova Zenix Hybrid battery is around Rp 30 million.

So far, Joni revealed that there have been no significant complaints from consumers regarding the Innova Zenix Hybrid battery.

“Usually, the most common complaint is the (battery notification) appearing on the MID, because the filter is dirty,” Joni concluded.

To anticipate this, Innova Zenix Hybrid owners simply need to pay attention to the placement of items in the cabin so as not to block the battery ventilation.

Then, check the battery filter at the recommended interval, which is every 10,000 km.

“If it is excessively dirty and there are signs of blockage, we recommend a replacement,” said Joni.
