KatadataOTO – PT Jetour Motor Indonesia has decided to lower the prices of their two inaugural models, the Dashing and the X70 Plus.

It should be noted that the initial on-the-road price for the Jetour Dashing was around IDR 403.8 million. Meanwhile, the X70 Plus was offered at around IDR 418.8 million.

But as of March 2025, the price has dropped by almost IDR 40 million. The Dashing is sold for around IDR 359.7 million, while the X70 Plus is also now under IDR 400 million, at around IDR 396.2 million.

“An attractive model will become even more attractive with a competitive price. Both now have a new pricing format,” said Moch. Ranggy Rahadiansyah, Marketing Director of PT Jetour Motor Indonesia in Jakarta, on Thursday (20/03).

According to Ranggy, the decision was made after conducting direct research and surveys with Jetour consumers in Indonesia.

Previously, purchasing a Jetour SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle) line included benefits such as free gasoline vouchers.

However, it turns out, according to Jetour, most consumers preferred if the promotion was allocated directly to the on-the-road price of the vehicle.

“So when we launched, there was a sales program with 1,000 liters of free gasoline, insurance, and a trade-in program. There was also a lucky angpao for Dashing purchases. After research in the last two months and at IIMS 2025, many consumers wanted direct benefits,” said Ranggy.

Consumers can now enjoy the benefit of a direct price cut. Ranggy explained that with the new price, customers will still receive the usual warranty.

“A 10-year or one million-kilometer engine warranty, and a six-year unlimited mileage vehicle warranty. These are still included, even though the price is now more competitive,” Ranggy emphasized.

When asked if the price reduction was influenced by the TKDN (Local Component Level), the company was still reluctant to elaborate further.

“The TKDN is being calculated by our internal team and we will submit it to the government soon,” he said.

For your information, Jetour is a sub-brand of the Chery Group that focuses on selling SUV-type vehicles.

Unlike the strategy of most other Chinese manufacturers, they chose to sell gasoline-powered cars first, not BEVs (Battery Electric Vehicles) or hybrid vehicles.

However, this year Jetour plans to expand its product portfolio in the country, including selling the X50e EV electric car and another SUV strongly suspected to be the T2 hybrid.
