KatadataOTO – Jetour Indonesia confirms it will launch the Jetour T2 i-DM (Intelligent Dual Motor) next year. This move will be their way of tapping into the electrification market in the country.
The car's presence is believed to be able to boost the company's sales in 2026. Especially since PHEV technology is expected to be more developed by that year.
“The Jetour T2 i-DM is planned to be launched next year, but the exact time cannot be announced yet. Because we still need to conduct various studies to get the timing right,” said Ranggy Radiansyah, Marketing Director of Jetour Motor Indonesia.
However, he admitted that some dealers have already started accepting vehicle orders.
“It can already be ordered at dealers, but it should be noted that its availability is still a long way off. As for the price, it's around Rp 838 million,” he then said.
He also added that his party will produce the vehicle directly in Indonesia.
Although the launch date is not yet certain, Jetour is providing a solution by offering the T2 at GJAW 2025. This car, which is already assembled in the country, will be delivered in January 2026.
“So the unit can be used immediately, even for the Lebaran homecoming,” said Ranggy.
He also revealed that the car, newly launched at GJAW 2025, has various advantages. So it is hoped that the public's driving needs can be met.
The Jetour T2 carries a Rugged Adventure SUV concept with a boxy silhouette, a unique grille, and has firm body lines. The Hardtop Cage Body structure is equipped with 80 percent high-strength steel, and the roof can withstand a load of up to 300 kg.
