KatadataOTO – Jetour X50e made its debut at the IIMS 2025 event. This electric car proved to be a tempting sight for exhibition visitors.

It is said that the Jetour X50e is not an ordinary electric SUV. Rather, it is a vehicle capable of supporting various user activities.

Bringing an electric car to the country is also part of their commitment to supporting environmentally friendly mobility. And as an innovative transportation solution within the country.

“We are very enthusiastic to participate in IIMS 2025. Besides the X50e, there is also the Travel Family Series line and interesting programs at the Jetour booth,” said Jacky Yang at JIExpo Kemayoran (13/02).

As an electric car, the X50e is not only capable of reducing carbon emissions. The vehicle's production process and design are also made to be more environmentally friendly.

Jetour is determined to continue innovating to meet the needs of consumers who are increasingly concerned about the future of the earth. While also fully supporting the government's efforts to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles.

Presented as a display unit, the X50e is ready to hit the roads in Indonesia. Jetour is still conducting development while observing visitor response.

“(After being exhibited) we will then look at market research and public enthusiasm. We are targeting this year, we will provide another update later,” said Moch Ranggy Radiansyah, Marketing Director of PT Jetour Motor Indonesia, at the same location.

Before being officially offered to consumers, Jetour Indonesia is preparing a unit that suits consumer needs. Not only the specifications, but the vehicle's price tag is also being prepared to be acceptable to potential buyers.

Entering the country's automotive market, Jetour is partnering with PT Handal Indonesia Motor (HIM) for unit assembly (CKD).

The aforementioned step was taken to cut taxes that could burden consumers. So that their cars can be sold competitively.

Both the Jetour Dashing and X70 Plus are equipped with a 1,500 cc gasoline engine. The vehicle's powertrain is believed to be capable of producing 156 hp and a peak torque of 230 Nm.

To provide customer convenience, an engine warranty of up to 10 years or 1 million kilometers is included. While the vehicle warranty is for 6 years with no mileage limit.
