KatadataOTO – Although not yet officially launched, salespeople have started marketing Aion UT to customers. They have even opened pre-orders with a booking fee of IDR 5 million.

The electric car will be offered in two variants, Standard and Premium, with prices starting from around IDR 270 million.

“The price is not yet official, but the Standard type is around IDR 270 million to IDR 290 million. Meanwhile, the Premium variant is under IDR 350 million,” said one of the salespeople to KatadataOTO (25/06).

The manufacturer can offer a competitive price because the car is already produced locally. Thus, it is hoped that it will be easier for the public to obtain it.

Based on information obtained by KatadataOTO, the Aion UT has a length of 4,270 mm, a width of 1,850 mm, and a height of 1,575 mm. Meanwhile, the vehicle's wheelbase reaches 2,750 mm and the ground clearance is 160 mm.

The battery used is an LFP with a capacity of 44.1 kWh for the standard type and 60 kWh for the Premium. This difference in capacity also results in a significant performance gap between the two.

For the Standard type, the range is only 400 km on a single charge. This power is then used by the electric motor to produce 134 hp and 145 Nm of torque.

Meanwhile, the Premium variant has a range of up to 500 km. The power it can unleash is 201 hp and 210 Nm of torque.

Each variant is also equipped with auto front wipers, a rear wiper, LED lights, and a V2L Function. However, for the Aion UT Premium, the wheel size is 17 inches, while for the Standard, it is only 16 inches.

There are also several features exclusive to the premium type, such as a power backdoor, panoramic roof, electric seats, ventilated seats, and wireless charging.

Unfortunately, massage seats are reportedly not available in either Aion UT variant.

The color choices are also quite diverse, namely Emerald Green/White, Moonstone Silver, Lunar White, Velvet Red/White, Almond Beige, and Urban Black.
