KatadataOTO – PT Eurokars Motor Indonesia, as the distributor of Mazda in the country, plans to launch two new cars at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025. Although not specified in detail, the cars to be introduced are confirmed to be Small SUVs.

From that statement, it is highly likely that they will bring the Mazda CX-3 Essential to the country. The car has just received new developments in Thailand and is expected to enter the Indonesian market as well.

Reported by AutoSpinn, this car retains various advantages from the previous model. One of them is the Kodo design, which has been developed in several aspects such as the grille and newly designed wheels to make it look more dynamic.

Entering the cabin, the appearance is quite attractive. The dominant black color gives a sporty impression to the car and adds value.

Including the 2,000 cc Skyactiv-G engine that produces 156 hp and 204 Nm of torque. This power is channeled to a 6-speed automatic transmission to provide driving pleasure.

If the Mazda CX-3 is indeed launched, the manufacturer will have more choices for customers in Indonesia. This will certainly have a positive impact on vehicle sales in Indonesia.

It was previously reported that PT Eurokars Motor Indonesia, as the official distributor of Mazda in Indonesia, is targeting 800 SPK at GIIAS 2025. This number is actually lower than the achievement at the same event last year.

This is because at GIIAS 2024, they managed to record 833 SPK throughout the exhibition. That figure was already down compared to GIIAS 2023, which achieved 1,003 SPK.

“We will do our best at GIIAS 2025, and 800 SPK is the target. That will be achieved from all Mazda models,” said Ricky Thio, Chief Operating Officer of PT Eurokars Motor Indonesia (30/06).

Ricky revealed that the current automotive market condition in Indonesia is under a lot of pressure. Therefore, 800 SPK in 2025 is a realistic figure for them to achieve.

“GIIAS 2025 is an important moment because usually everyone goes all out, so sales will be busy. But the month after, it usually gets quiet,” he explained.
