KatadataOTO – PT Eurokars Motor Indonesia, the official distributor of Mazda in Indonesia, stated it is only targeting 800 vehicle orders at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025. This number is even lower than its achievement at the same event last year.

At that time, they successfully recorded 833 vehicle orders throughout the event. That number was already a decrease from GIIAS 2023, which achieved 1,003 vehicle orders.

“We are trying our best at GIIAS 2025, and 800 vehicle orders is the target. This will be sourced from all Mazda models,” said Ricky Thio, Chief Operating Officer of PT Eurokars Motor Indonesia (30/06).

According to him, the automotive market in Indonesia is currently under pressure. Therefore, achieving 800 vehicle orders at GIIAS 2025 is a realistic figure.

“GIIAS 2025 is an important moment because usually everyone goes all out, so sales will be busy. But the month after, it usually gets quiet,” he explained.

Therefore, the company will introduce two new products to optimize their sales.

“We will present two products, consisting of one facelifted model and another that is a new variant. This will give consumers more options,” he told the media.

Although he did not provide details, he confirmed that both models will enter the large SUV and small SUV segments. In addition, they will also bring several other models during the exhibition.

The manufacturer also plans to provide test drive units so that potential customers can experience the vehicle's performance before making a transaction.

Mazda has prepared various programs believed to make it easier for people to get products that suit their needs. This convenience is offered not only for cars but also for accessories and spare parts.

“At GIIAS 2025, we will provide sales programs, after-sales services, special prices for accessories, and spare parts. This way, customers can get more benefits during the event,” said Viya Arsawireja, Marketing & Communication General Manager of PT Eurokars Motor Indonesia.
